The PFA are delighted to announce the latest graduates from the University of Salford BSc Physiotherapy programme.
A sports physiotherapist is a highly sought-after role, directly overseeing the treatment of musculoskeletal sports injuries and rehabilitation of elite athletes. It presents an opportunity to stay in the game or another sporting environment and can be a rewarding line of work.
Players experience injury and rehabilitation throughout their career and the PFA recognise the value of former players seeking to pursue a career as a physiotherapist.
The course is heavily backed by the PFA and we would like to congratulations our 2019 graduates:
- Scott Beattie – Former Torquay United
- Paul Booth – Former Oldham Athletic
- Danny Murray – Former Wolverhampton Wanderers
Paul Booth was also awarded the prestigious Richard Butcher Memorial Award which is presented to the most improved student throughout the course.
