Throughout the year, the PFA maintains an online Transfer List, which gives clubs direct access to players that are currently available.

Clubs can search for players based on pre-set criteria such as position, gender and favoured foot.

It is a simple tool for managers, coaches and scouts as they search for a signing, and once registered, clubs can contact available players directly via the platform.

The Transfer Directory is used in all four tiers of professional football in England but it also attracts interest from much further afield. International enquiries have come from the MLS, A-League and the SPL, and as far afield as India, China, UAE and Singapore. Non-League is growing in popularity each year, which is reflected by the vast amount of clubs that are enquiring for the out of contract players.

Adding your details to the Transfer List …

PFA Members – to add your details to the Transfer List, register an account on ThePFA.com and complete the brief form that can be found at the bottom of your account page.

Be sure to fill out the form with all you latest contact details, so clubs can contact you or your representative directly.

New Features Added

  • Upload video - If you have video playing footage available, you can now include and add multiple videos to your profile.
  • CV - You can now include a Football CV which can help add a personal touch to your profile and enables you to include extended career information such as: playing history, stats (appearances/goals/clean sheets), style of play, height, weight etc.

If you are out-of-contract, or your existing club has stated in writing that you may seek new opportunities – it is vital that you add your details to the Transfer List.
